Renewal of the Spirit

Early in the Spring Spirit gave me a vision, which was confirmed by my Chief. It was a vision to gather together elders to discuss and share thoughts about prophecies. We are working to bring this together this year in October. Spirit said to call it, “Renewal of Spirit” and shared that in this time of fear which has been foretold over and over again, we are seeing major earth changes… yep our mother earth is talking to us big time. We are seeing global warming, disappearing rain forests, acid rain, depleted ozone layer, and pollution of the air, land, water, and our minds, it is imperative that we seek our solutions facing our planet today. The more we open our hearts, minds, and ‘ears’ to elders of all races and cultures, the more we can embrace our own inner truths on the pathway of peace from within. In my mind, it is indigenous peoples who hold seeds of visions … of prophecy, community, respect, responsibility, and in their very existence remind us and serve as the glue that bonds hearts together for our mother, the earth. History of human kind shows that thru ancient techniques of divination and tools of prophecy, elders were able to share with humanity words of responsibility to and bring them closer to the earth. They taught us to read messages being sent forth by the mother earth. Always seeking to rally folks to take action to prophecies and messages and to unite in an effort to bring balance again upon our planet. Their voices were not raised to create fear but to the contrary, it was a call for bravery and for action.
Mayan Elders in Guatemala, just sent out a message for all of humanity, that they were concerned about what has been presented in their recent divinations and they call to all humanity to warn their leaders and to work very hard at a spiritual level to prevent the impending destructions. Elders have long warned us as humans to quite our obsessive behaviors that ruin earth, wind, fire, and air. "Whatever befalls the earth befalls the people of the earth. Man did not weave the web of life, he is merely a strand in it. Whatever he does to the web, he does to himself." -Chief Seattle
So much fear about end days is everywhere. I just returned from Europe, where every time I did a talk or gathering, folks just kept asking about the ‘End of the Earth.’ Whew…fear…I would go on to share… Grace Spotted Eagle used to say to me, “Dummy, prophecy is not about what is going to happen … they are about what could happen if you don’t do something to avert it. Now get busy!”
2012… that date seems to be looming over our heads. Last year I was asked to come to Turkey to talk and found myself surprised when it turned out to be a coming together of old friends… Diane Patricia Robles; Carol Anderson; and none other then Jose Arguelles, were my fellow speakers. All of us remembering our connection in 1987, for it changed our planet as folks came together to pray, meditate, or do ceremony. I passed out over 50,000 flyers for Harmonic Convergence which was a dream and vision of Jose. I found out that Carolyn Anderson was head of ‘Global Family' which was the group whose letterhead sponsored Jose to get out the word. Now was this a flashback from HC 1987 or what? Can you say we bonded fast or what?
I listened with much interest from the speakers table in front of 3,000 plus folks, as Jose talked about the date 2012; ending of the Mayan Calendar; and ending of the world as we know it. He shared about a polar shift that will happen in 2012. My mind started remembering…that Nasa had on it’s web talk of a polar shift in 2001 and the next one was due in 2012; in 2001 there was the twin towers tradgy; 2001 many hearts were opened because of tradgy; and also I felt the first feeling of fear in the earth field.
Chief Leonard Crow Dog, told me to have a series of classes this spring where I share all basics. That I did and it was a most remarkable time. During one of the classes, as I usually do, I was ‘speaking spirit’ and spirit shared about expansion and contraction of energies. I had forgotten a meeting of long ago with a Rimpoche in NY. Sitting on a red velvet pillow beside him in front of several thousands of his devotees, he asked me what was the biggest crowd I had ever talked to when I was in spirit. I thought, and laughed as I said, “20,000 speaking on stage with the ‘Grateful Dead’. He smiled and said, “Well that’s how much your aura and spirit can expand. That’s big!” He went on to say, “That’s the good news, but the not so good news is that when you get out of spirit your aura and spirit quickly contracts. Boom, it hits the first energy body of your physical self, and that is the emotional body.” I said, “Well that explains a lot. I have always wondered at elders and teachers who are amazing when they are sharing in spirit but after the talk or ceremony it turned into another thing.” I had told him that spirit must of known this for a long time now, for spirit has me walk out of the room during the ending song by my warrior. I do this for two reasons… 1) Folks always say thank you to me and give me credit for what ever has just happened in the meeting and I leave to let them get back in touch with the spirit to say thank you to the spirit; and 2) I go outside and start bringing myself back from whatever ‘realm’ I have been to with spirit. I deep breathe and tell myself, you are ok and breathe. Then if someone walks up to me, I will act kind to them instead of reacting.” The Rimpoche smiled and said, “You are a wise woman and your elders have taught you well the lessons of choice and not to react to your emotional body.” I do believe this was a most fortuitist meeting for sure.
In my early years my training was as a warrior. In the early 70’s when elders were just beginning to come out to the people to share, I did a lot of flying to accompany them in lectures and workshops. Training consisted of watching for details; awareness; and how I was always at choice with my own mind. The one about the mind was cruitial for I had to stop my mind chatter to keep in awareness. Also the ability to change from negative to positive thoughts keeps the peace. An example is… My mind says Ice Cream, I could choose a healthy snack of fruit. Once Grace said, “You have to make a personal transformation for peace. Get out of yourself into the World!” Our physical body is a construction of mind and an animation of our spirit. It is designed to last forever. Physical immortality is rooted in awareness. By knowing you are at choice we can create heaven on earth now by stopping the negative mental emotional attitudes such as fear, hatred, guilt, shame, etc.
Near the time that Grace was passing, she told me that I had been trained as a warrior for peace, not war. That my training would help many during the times of the earth changes. During these times we all need to be warriors to ourselves, to each other, and for the earth. Taking strides to see chaos begins in each human heart and can only end there. As Mahatma Gandhi said, “Can you be the change that you wish to see in the world?” Grandpa Wallace said, “If enough of you folks make peace in your heart, by making decisions with the heart not the mind, then all war would end and all pollution would end.” Grandmother Twylah Nitsch said, “If enough people in the world transformed themselves into peacemakers, war could end. The leading idea here is critical mass. When the time is right and enough people participate, critical mass can change the world.” In every spiritual tradition it is believed that peace must exist in one’s heart before it can exist in the outer world. Repeating the words Aho Mi Takaye Oyacin…amen to all my relations…all things with life during times of fear will help make choices that benefit all…7 generations past and 7 generations forward, besides you where you stand right now.
Chief Leonard Crow Dog used to say, “Take charge of your life and your destiny. Become the Dream you had for yourself before you were born.” I think you always have to be honest with yourself, open to what others say about you, and be at choice.
